Re:

You're quite welcome, Annicita. I know how much people appreciate them, especially on a Monday . . .

Re:

You're quite right, C C T. From what I understand, one of the worst is "Ring Around The Rosy!" Look that one up and see what that's all about! Nasty indeed! And you're probably right about those three cheers. In most cases, one should suffice . . .

Re: JimmyA

Thanks, Sir Wiley. Next time you're in a diner or restaurant, give it a shot. Ya never know . . .

Re:

Easy over, Utah, or over easy? Either way, I don't believe anyone is going to find any clouds in their eggs . . .

Re:

It would be interesting, FSI, to see people actually trying to give someone 21 cheers, although it would take a while! I think after the first nine or ten, people would just start to fade out . . .

Re: Jimmy

Thanks, Naut. I believe I'm all caught up over there! Yeah, certainly give that 'cloudy-side down' order a try. It'll be quite interesting if the waiter or waitress immediately picks up on what you're actually ordering . . .

Re:

I understand, TAPS. I try to bring a little sunshine to people with these blogs, especially on a Monday. But when Old Man Winter's got ya down, He's got ya down. Maybe you'll perk up a bit as the week wears on . . .

I think three cheers is about as much as most deserve Jimmy. Now you see if the little boy had pulled out a raspberry, I don't know if raspberries were around when this little rhyme was concocted. Atishoo atishoo they all fall down. I did look up the meaning behind these old rhymes once. Very nasty most of them.

"Just to be a wise-ass, would ordering your eggs ‘cloudy-side down’ be the same as ordering them ‘sunny-side up?"  LOL I like it my friend.

Now you got me into the Christmas spirit in March....I like the idea of twenty-one cheers.

Jimmy

LOL! And I'm certainly going to order my eggs 'cloudy side down' the next time I'm having breakfast at a restaurant, lol... BTW, I've begun answering your comment in 'Thoughts'...

I read them all, but today I'm kind of not laughing.  It's like I really am tired of winter, and being inside looking out, and all that.  But spring will come, I hope, I hope, I hope.
