What a post! I do a lot of thinking like that and I don't even plan to move. It's just that one never knows what is going to happen next.

Small steps leading up to a big one...Sometimes I think I would like to move, especially now that our street has been destroyed - but I also hate moving so much that I probably won't...

I say stick it out because change like that isn't the best at my age anyway but we could come and help you love.

Take this slow and getting rid of stuff is a good idea anyway. Relocating can be tough.
I have bags again, of bits and pieces for the Bible Society place that takes everything and anythings and sell it all cheap to those who need it and the proceeds go to printing bibles for those who want them. Mostly clothes again but when I get back I will once more go through the house and get rid of one thing from each room that we never use. There is so much stuff.

Yes it is a problem Pat, my cousin has moved to London to be in touch with her Son and family. She seems to like it near to Parks etc. I suppose one has to think ahead, it is a hard decision, but a granny flat gives one that privacy we all need. Of course there is no going back, but life is full of compromises.
