I stopped Lipitor too some years ago. For me it is hereditary and I don't smoke and my BP is low...I think I can manage some cholesterol.

I feel that you have made a good decision there...I am leery of all the different types of pill medication as well.

Good choice! My wife and I just saw a news report about one medication after another being chided for its unbelievable side-affects, causing problem after problem! Yes, a strong and healthy diet, as natural as possible, along with a little common sense, can go a long way over prescription medications . . .

Good for you. I had a similar experience with statins. Doc kept prescribing different ones and I kept having trouble with them. Finally said "phooey" and gave them up for good.
