I still refuse to step on cracks in the cement....It drives my wife crazy. And I count my steps too.

We all have few little quirks I am glad that you stopped counting Taps. I usually get on a stepping machine in the morning I try and count a few extra steps each day, but I usually jump off before the kettle has finished boiling .

TAPS
I don't count much, though I try do do the adding, subracting, multiplying and dividing I need to do in my head rather than using the calculator. Of course, since I often don't trust myself, I get out the calculator out anyway to check, LOL...But I have other silly habits. When I have Bennie in the car and get out for a moment to do an errant, I tell him "Wait!" I mean, what else is he going to do? But then I often find myself saying "Wait!" when I get out and he is not with me...

Nothing wrong with 'counting' things. Believe it or not, it's actually pretty good exercise for the mind . . .

For some reason counting steps or stitches (when crocheting) is
relaxing. I can feel myself loosen up. Don't think its OCD, but if it is, so what? I also count when I brush my teeth, to make sure I don't neglect any of them.

As for how you title your entries and keep track of the days, you know best...I remember when I did my Final Full Semester Series. I titled each post Final Full Semester #[x]. If I ever did a series like that again, I will title them differently based off of the content rather than the entry.
When it comes to mathematics, I tend to deal more with the Tetris Effect.
