Re: Jimmy

Actually Jimmy there is a big advert to sell bags filled with something that soaks up water and supposedly seals  doorways from a foot or less of water, I just though I'll put some straw down in the greenhouse it will soak up some water.

Re: Re: Ciel

Someone mentioned somewhere a "brass monkey" and Chumpet sounds cute as a monkey, too. But I apologize if he was upset. (Darwin had the same kind of negative feedback, I believe.)

Please tell Uncle Albert, I am flattered, but not into that kind of thing.

for you,

Re: Ciel

Ciel how can you be so cruel calling a little rejected gargolye a monkey.Poor little Chumpet would be really upset , he sometimes reads these comments and Uncle Albert said he would like to spank you. However I  forgive you.

Re: Naut

Yes Naut soon have to invest in a small raft. I once had a goose that thought I was its mother, until it met its soul mate.

CCT

I saw on the tube (that's 'telly' to you, not the London Underground) that in your neck of the woods there were cars driving through streets that looked more like rivers - the drivers were up to heir necks in water, like sitting in their bathtub...And Chumpets have a genetic makeup similar to birds - they're being 'imprinted' with the first thing they see after birth and think it's their mother, even if it's a shovel or an old shoe...

I am extremely that I have not had to deal with flood damage...Uncle Albert as a father figure sounds like a great idea.

It's just not fair, the weather there, in any sense of the word,

It's great to have magic in your life, and I think you did right, choosing Arthur. :)

Good job with the garden monkey...

Now you'd better get started on the ark.

That flood possibility sounds scary! But hey, if you run out of sponges, I'm sure the cat can 'soak up' a few liters . . .

Oh well done chosing Uncle Albert. He deserves a bit of trouble sometimes.

How wet it is your way. how dry it is in Australia. How cold and deep the snow is here. Do look up that Viking Queen i know nothing of her.
