Well Bill I know several houses that were built partly of asbestos , it is such a job to get rid of it unless one pays a hefty price. One lot of builders told me there Dad built his house completely of asbestos. I think we might have to build on stilts if the rain keeps coming.

I don't think I have ever danced on a catwalk....but if I were going to do that, I would want it to be pretty sturdy.  I'm so glad that we are in a time when people are aware that asbestos is bad for you and that lead-based paint is no longer used in homes.

Since I know nothing about those things, I let the experts handle them...And asbestos is no longer in use in these parts...

For me, I think about a wide variety of things when it comes to the safety of the building such as its foundation, whether its designed to handle weather pressures and materials...I did not think much about insulation. As far as asbestos goes, that would be a concern when moving.
