It is interesting to read the effects on inclement weather...I am glad when those survivors are willing to share their stories.

If you are not here tomorrow i will start ringing hospitals making enquiries. No one is leaving our Pat to waste away in some Institution when she has so much yet to do...and besides we need you.

Well if you are upright tomorrow, we shall know you made it safely Pat. I have some short wellies with spiky bottoms but I don't think I would be very popular walking on a shop floor with them.

Not fear of falling, but fear of falling down...
I understand this one well! I avoid my front steps by going out the garage door, when weather has coated them. Hand rails are always handy. Cold won't keep me in, but ice will.
