Re: I trimmed off all the strawberry runners last summer, since I'm
Well a good idea pity you did not save half a dozen new plants to propagate more later.
I think like you I did not prune my vines hard enough, when you look at a grape plantation their branches are cut very close to the stem, Anyway I have removed most of mine they were wine varieties and not very nice. I know I just write nonsense sometimes.

Re: Something karmic about your icy cold shower, methinks!
Mind over matter. Yes sure Ciel I'll make sure the heat is on today. Pinched out the tops of the sweet peas to make them bush out, don't forget.

I can't blame Arthur for being upset - here he's just paid £150 for a fishing licence, and pretty soon he could be fishing trout on High Street for free...

Sledge Hammer???????No No you naughty man. that is much too hard a work. Leave it for archie to do and let Arthur pay him. You have to take care of you.
I wish i could still dance. I would look like a plump Gnomess stomping around huffing and puffing. Sigh...Oh well I had me day once upon a time.

Well, with the fish swimming nonchalantly up and down the road, I would assume it would make the fishing even easier! Just reach down and grab one! And I always thought 'cold showers' were reserved for those whose sexual prowess was being severely stifled! How did 'little Chiff Chaff' come through it . . . ?

CCT..our Great Lakes should benefit from the snow melt
when it comes (hopefully not all at once or we'll be flooded)...lake levels should slowly rise and that is sorely needed.....

I trimmed off all the strawberry runners last summer, since I'm
not trying to expand the planting. Turns out to be treats for the birds and squirrels anyway. This year I'm not going to let the grapes fruit, either, but will prune back all the vines - they consistently ripen a few on a cluster, then the ripe ones go bad before the rest bloom. Seems so weird since they're exposed to identical rain and shine. I enjoyed the verses all about the dance. Those were the days...
