and re my post, yes a wet towel in front of a fan was our first luxury and then we had one unit in a window back when we had that bread run and mum Dad and the two little boys slept in the same room so we could get some rest. but they were noisy and sometimes too cold or too small for the area and there are sometnings about today's world that make life much easier.

well I am glad that I called this place north Camelot...but LOL...I love the Winters here so I suppose all is as it should be. and with the manuscript at the publishers I would love to write in a bit more of one character but I think it is too late. Is one ever satisfied???

Yes we were too polite to tell you. No, Pat no one probably noticed, but one has to be on the ball if one wants to market a product. Yes as I sit out in the blazing sun drinking a martini and typing this on my Sharp word processor.

I had missed that! Time for haying is when, July? Anyway, I had a pleasantly summery picture of the whole scene, a relief from our current wintry malaise...
