That is both wonderful and sad. I can't imagine being in that position. And although I do support our troops and am grateful for their service, it's hard sometimes to look upon it as they are 'defending our country.' They are, instead, dieing unnecessary while more or less defending another country! All of those troops in Afghanastan and Iraq should be brought home now so we won't have to hear of other stories like this . . .
