Indeed it is, but when we think of it, God giving us our agency without interference as He did, and if this is true, for Muslim, Christian, or Atheist, like I believe it to be, isn't all things, good or bad, in one way or another, by or of God? Is it not how we are judged, by our choices. Not that this makes it right, but a better understanding of the foundation of good vs evil. I'm not sure if this makes any sense at all as I have been up all night and I am babbling.

You're absolutely right. I stand corrected. I was basing my response on the general 'tactics' themselves, and not necessarily on the rationale behind them, the end result they hope to achieve, or the 'inspiration' for using any of them in the first place. I suppose there is a huge difference between a government using such tactics to further their political agendas, and a religious group using them to persecute and/or destroy their rivals! Thanks for 'setting me straight' . . .
