Your Meeko ( R.I.P. ) is similiar to our cat Riki. When my wife and I sit down for dinner, she must come over and 'sample' whatever we're having. A piece of bread, a sliver of chicken, a finger-tip of sauce . . . it doesn't matter. And she doesn't let up until she's 'served!' Unfortunately, as a result, she's now at least 2 or 3 pounds overweight ( talk about a 'fat cat' )! And don't worry about ever 'mastering' any video game! The fun is in the playing . . .
