Ciel
What a wonderful, warm poem! And it even brought back memories, for I too have known such doors...

I've read many poems over the years of 'something' being witness to the change of seasons - a tree, a building, a fencepost, a stone wall - but never a set of Dutch doors! Very nice, and very heart-felt . . .

A very sepcial poem from a very special poet/writer. I felt the poem moved as it should through seasons and time and the end is absolutely as it should be.

Very nice Ciel how poetry should be written with a love of the
moments and gentle movement in this case through time.
I was born in a long trailer that had a door like that only
the top was glass four small windows.
