I must admit that it will be hard to watch it go. We still have to live in the village, and I will have to walk past it every day until it's pulled down. the worst part is that they will dig up the garden to built more houses. But if I made a lot of money I would move away anway, so I would have to let it go in any case. But thanks for all your kind thoughts. Steve.

Yes I watched a house that I had lived in from childhood it was knocked down in an hour.

 Better not to watch probably.

you should write a story about the house. something that includes the real history of the house and area and some supernatural stuff that people expect and love...

Just about every home has some sort of history to it, with many memories attached. My parents were the original owners of the house I grew up in, and it was actually very difficult to see others living in it after my parents sold it and moved to Florida. But eventually I got over it. Good luck with future endeavors . . .
