My head is full, and has been full, of many, many things too. That's why I write! I already tried the art thing, wanting to become an illustrator. But I had to give that up when my right hand was destroyed many moons ago. No, it's not necessarily ego. Just a will to express yourself! Keep going . . .

Yes it is a bit of an ego trip, almost as though one can think (this is me).
Enjoy reading and editing, I suppose ideas will come as polishing as you call it
