As a Republican Delegate for the state of Utah I must say that I have had my fill with the likes of Hatch, McCain, Grahmm, McConnell and the likes of the Republican and Democrat establishments. It seems as though all they want to do is to protect their power and the power of Washington DC, after all it is where they live and get rich together scratching each other's backs while the rest of us worry over principles. What we need to do is to come together, not as Democrats, or Republicans, but as Americans and clean this mess up in November and put an end to the power of this Imperial President and Harry Reed.

a most interesting post and I hope that you can eventually become happy with the political state of your country. I actually think all of the modern political scenes in our countries are corrupt. some perhaps more than others.

I must readily admit, I did not watch nor did I pay any amount of attention to last night's State of the Union Address, for one simple reason: I've grown so, so tired of political rhetoric, regardless of which party it comes from. If you were to listen to every State of the Union Address since Kennedy, you would have heard sincere promise after sincere promise, wonderful idea after wonderful idea, positive encouragement after positive encouragement, until you would think we'd be living in an incredible Utopiah by now! And it's all been nothing but one bullshit speech after another! Sorry if I sound so cynical, but unfortunately, I'm also a realist . . .
