I remember when the games were here, how tight the security was and still we did not feel safe, not really. I cannot imagine how the residents who live there must feel.

I'm scared for the athletes, the residents of that area, the spectators.
The competition in winter sports is already overshadowed by rumors of black widow suicide bombers and other sick SOB's bent on staging their own deadly games. Why does anyone want to turn a celebration of health and fitness into gravel?

Sad when even something like this is subject to forms of destruction. One can only imagine twenty years hence robots guarding each athelete and death rays in place. This might just seem placid.

I pray that everyone is safe at the games... I would not be going. I think the games are ruined... The Olympics are finished I believe unless they come back as something smaller, less such a big spectacle. and Brazil for the football later in the year...the main stadium is likely to fall down.
