There are a few things that I do that bug my wife, and there are a few things that my wife does that bug me. But like penalties against opposing players in a football game, they kind of 'offset' each other! We love each other far too much to let any of those idiosyncrasies affect the wonderful relationship we have. Yeah, hindsight is usually 20-20. Don't beat yourself over them now . . .

TAPS
Well it took me 20 years to straighten-up and fly right, finally I found she was as bad in her way as an enabler and she would never stop. It cost me my kids but at least alcoholism isn't my problem anymore, good for us Taps for getting on with life.

It is not only unlikely we will change anyone. We must allow God to do that and it comes slowly and by much faith.

There's an old saying that applies to much of what I've learned -
"So soon old, so late smart."
