I am glad you can spice up your foodstuff Pat and enjoy the flavour. No good for me to suggest anything. I never ask what is in dish . I hate caraway seeds though.

seems i'm always forgetting stuff at the store. i've got cinnamon if you care to borrow. i like it with sugar on white rice with milk. yum. haven't had that in a long time. will have to put white rice and sugar on my list!

I don't care much for potato soup actually, but we went and had some for lunch out last week.I love the cinnamon though.

I use a lot of Cinnamon in on my cooking. Greek influence on my cooking. And cooked greens aare delicious when you drain the water off after boiling them and toss them on the stove top with a dash of olive oil and lemon. Don;t let them cook again though or the oil is ruined. and only a dash.

I add a small tsp of cinnamon (here often referred to as 'cimmamom', a version introduced by one of the kids, lol) to my latte, and it goes on anthing involving apples...And your soup sounds delish...
