I felt quite sad for Ben, but the last line made it all better again.

I am glad that you are finding ways to do things in spite of your injury...Before you know it, it will be summer, and you two will be playing ball.

You're proving that perseverence pays off, and that people can do things they never thought possible before! And how can you deny poor Ben? You have to find a way to play ball in the house! And I believe he will hold you to those summer ball-playing sessions . . .

You've been blessed with a patient pup
who's waiting for you to hurry up
and heal so you can be his buddy
and play outdoors when it's not muddy.

Of course if it were a permanent disability I would design you a large catapult. The elastic would slip over your shoes, attached to a simple fiiting . (yet to be designed). You would sit on a bench raise your legs pull back the jumbo size elastic. Ben's ball being held in a suitable pouch and fire.

So happy that you can now pick up Poo!! I shall sleep better tonight also glad that the rules have been modified so that poor little Benny can play a quiet game of ball in the house. Do get well soon.
