Go to Life in the fast lane--where's the on ramp?

- Go to Granny Squares
What a fun post for me because I had some of all of those. My hubby went through a spell of relaxing from work by doing macrama. He became very good at it and made some very nice things. Then he taught himself to do seat-bottom weaving and rejuvenated some nice chairs. Granny Squares make many nice things. The cold weather is here too. In fact, I just realized I need to snuggle under some fuzzy blanket or something.

You will love that granny blanket either on the knees or around the shoulders in the cold and they look great just lying over the back of easy chairs in the summer. See I never did get into modern style. LOL
and all those lovely things that you have been making are either next years Christmas presents for the family or you can donate them to those in need.

I suppose you could make a blanket Pat that would take some time. Goodness I just would not have the patience, though it must keep ones hands supple.

It is great how much the Internet helps us...We are expecting some cold weather and some snow in Maryland.

I can just see you sitting surrounded by baskets of hats and scarves...
One way I sometimes move my extras along is to donate to a family support group or homeless shelter. Especially in 'vortex' times like this!
