I really enjoyed this post, great work here, and a question most of us can ponder.

I have a feeling this was directed at someone in particular. And I never assume that the 'grass is greener!' Sometimes, you leave an oasis for a desert, but don't know it until it's too late . . .

the grass is not greener. around here it is now brown and covered in snow. back in the day when i actually had men after me i now wonder how different my life would be had i married any of them yet am glad to remain single. i like my life. even with the telemarketing. maybe someday i will be well enough to love truly for the first time in my life. if not there's always heaven where we will neither give or be given in marriage. God must relate to our essential loneliness here on earth. in heaven we'll be too busy with him and each other to settle for a thing called marriage. i've not seen too many marriages that i care to emulate. though i do want to get the new nonfiction book by anne patchett called This Is The Story Of A Happy Marriage. I'd like to buy multiple copies and give to family members and friends. Such an intriguing title. FULL OF HOPE!

LL . I am sometimes amazed when a woman or man goes off with someone else and they do not appear to be very different from the last partner. After bringing up children, there seems to be an element in human nature that tries to split the family. Of course in the past this was not affordable and many lived in distaste to each other. I don't think it is anything to do with you personally, it is ingrained in the mind of many.

Love it. Powerful thoughts put together. Questions one may ask themselves over the years. Well done proud of my friend so I am.
