I quit believing everything I read long ago as there are so many people in this world with their own agendas. This is particularly true with history...Believe only the words of those who were actually there.

In this particular situation, I too wouldn't worry about those other books or tales. You know the truth of what you wish to write about, and that's all you need to concentrate on. Tell your story . . .

keep writing as the stories are given to you. Some how it seems someone wants their story told.
