what fun we get out of our animals. Now here, the Chipmunks will eat from my hands, sit in my lap even but not the squirrels. They just sit in the tree and nag at me. LOL.

That pickyness is a good sign that she's well nourished, I think.
My gourmet squirrel:
she's a fussy girl.

Well, even I like variety.
How about pistachios?
Does she like those?
It's really fun to sit an empty jar of peanut butter on the porch and watch them clean it out.

I am afraid if I were a squirrel. I would just sit and look at you Ciel. Years ago when my father and I gave up smoking we started eating pea-nuts to alleviate the stress. Trails of shells were seen through the villages it was like a paper chase. Dad was eating twice as many as me. I said to him one day 'your breath smells kind of winy.' We thought about it and gave the damned things up. No, you would have to offer a nice pecan shelled of course or a shelled walnut. I usually feed the birds with sunflower hearts. Rather extravagantly some times the ones from the health shop. The nasty little Grey squirrels around here would probably take alf yer finger.
