A lot of people would have liked the stock :). There certainly is an almost religious feel to the company. Thanks for the comment

I know I am not alone - sadly. I think alot of companies out there are squeezing the life out of there employees. And I probably sound dramatic and whiney - but honestly sometimes ya just need to get it out of the system. My goal now is to move on. Semper ad Meliora - "always to better things." Thank you for the comment and the welcome back
Be well,

Oh well done, anyone reading you could tell that the job was making you very ill. I am wondering if you have PTSD...it sounds as though the experience gradually broke your individuality almost to the core of you.
Congratulations on breaking free and on the new job!!!

Well that is good news. I takes courage to escape from security even if it is slowing destroying you. I know someone who is in a similar situation, but has not got the will power to say enough.

Even looking in on Apple from the outside, as it were, I've forever had the impression there's something 'cultic' about it, and since I dislike cults I've always avoided it, and always will...I would have liked to have bought the stock early on, though...

Believe it or not, your lament(s) are not all that unique, and that's unfortunate. I could tell you nightmare tales of some of the things I went through at my last job at a graphic arts house that would fill at least a dozen blogs! Anxiety attacks, headaches, the urge to strangle someone . . . I went through it all! I guess we have to sometimes remember, that which does not kill us . . . I'm glad you've moved on, and are feeling better about youself and your future. Oh, and welcome back . . .
