A serious two-fold situation. First, no one in that store obviously knew how to arrange the signs or the lines in such a way as to make it just a little easier for the customers. And two, a clear example of people just not paying attention to their surroundings! I'm actually surprised she wasn't just being distracted by her cell phone . . .

we have 2 walmarts and one more being built but I never have trouble checking out at least you know you are in the right lane

Wiley and I have been known to put back what we had intended to buy and walk out and go elsewhere.That was at the local Walmart here. Our Sears is only a depot where you order things.

I have noticed that, too, at the Sears near my house in terms of how their registers are organized and how confusing it is for customers.
