Go to Life in the fast lane--where's the on ramp?

I don't intend to go out and go anywhere again until spring.
Today I had to go rescue Sis. At the store she locked her keys in her car. Called me. I got her and took her to her place to get her spare key and back to her car. I'm certainly glad that this was the warmest day this week. Tonight the temp plummets and it is snowing again.

Do you have a cell phone? If not do get one. I us one in Australia. It cost $35 and when I hit Sydney I put a few dollars onto it for while I am there. Nothing fancy but i can make calls and text on it.

Pat
It's always fun watching the critters' doings, and especially in winter, I find...But I'm not sure it's a good idea to risk being without a phone because of a power outage! Simple (i.e. non-smart, stupid) cell phones are cheap as dirt these days, and so are plain contracts...

It just not feel cold enough for snow here Pat, but the wind and the rain is pretty bad in many places. I thought squirrels hibernated in winter, but I suppose the street lighting stimulates them.

I am amazed by all of the different animal footprints on my property.

You worried me for a moment there... human-size prints in the snow...
Squirrels making snow-angels, though... not so bad.
May I suggest a cell phone, for when the power goes out? We gave up the landline years ago for a phone service through the computer, and now and then, that cell phone was our entire backup system.
