I thought briefly of going out today but it is so cold and there is still plenty of food here so I have done nothing.

I sure hope you keep the larder well stocked, and also that you never lose the electric power when that storm hits, as happened here. In Toronto, many people were compensated for the loss of their vittels because of the protracted power outage...

I'm going tomorrow when it's supposed to warm up to freezing...
But I think weather gets to you a day ahead of when it gets here to the greater St. Louis area.

I agree with CC!
I'm sure your lads would be glad to be able to do something to make your life easier. You might have to remind them of that, but still, better to send them foraging, than yourself.

I think you spoil them Taps and I bet your sons will grumble at you going out in the cold.
Can't you order it on the net or by phone. You will slip up and then bonk, you will be out of action. I am sure one of your son's would get anything you need. Ask them.
