Thank you for putting it all together. Reading along as the last few years have unfolded, I knew the story but in patches and did not know that the transplant was so long ago. i agree with paying it forward so that another life can be saved. Besides for me, it makes a little bit of sense of the terrible agony of losing someone to injury..st least someone else gets to live.

That is great how he was able to live for such a long time thanks to the gift of life...I myself am an organ donor.
