Justi

Well Justi I guess they are all odd but mainly one colour it helps to pick the same colour out each time. Perhaps I'll get rid of the rainbow ones.

The odd socks have to go. Maybe you will enjoy keeping five pairs of pants. Now I can see it is a gratifying thought to have Mom at home at certain times. Hope the Christmas Pudding is good and you enjoy it. Happy New Year every day of it.

Re: Your hero seems to like the idea of women

Do I hear laughter as you write Ciel? We shall have to get you on the humour blog. I did have a sort through a while ago now I rememember . I gave six pairs of trousers to a charity, I think they had shrunk around the waist.

RePat

Very good Pat we shall have to try

and make hay when the sunshines.

if you were a girl and I were a boy

We might still think along those lines.

Re:

Come on Jimmy I should not think you have even counted them. A woman told me her hubby died and he had 45 jumpers. He also had five pairs of knickers but He used those for collecting the honey from the bees, and picking the brussle sprouts.

Re:Kabu

I was half a mind to put them in a bag for a charity collection and then I saw that they gave £75 a ton to charity so my socks would be worth about 35p the lot and anyway the charity shops round here only want fashionable stuff like you wear. They don't want low class peasant material. People leave bags of clothing outside the shops and one woman helper was seen putting it straight into the waste bin.Anyway 4 or5 socks make a good belt when knotted together.

take akk those socks to the charity store...people with no socks don't mind if they were odd socks. It is better than wearing none.. Happy New Year old chap.

While 'straightening up' you found 35 pairs of pants? I don't think I've owned 35 pairs of pants in my lifetime! Keep looking. You never know what you'll find next! And never mix up pudding with brussle sprouts! Your tastebuds will thank you . . .

And a very Happy New Year to you as well!

Ah, CCT, you've got me thinking again.

A poem's first leaves unfold like a sprouting bean
and I think about love and death and all between
the doubts and fears of all the years and dull
normal taking for granted in a life that's full.

I wish you a Happy New Year as well...A clever ending you got there.

Your hero seems to like the idea of women

but the actuality... not so much.

And I don't want to hear about your drawers.

,,and yet...
