if that were me and i saw they obviously had their heads up their asses i'd be out of there and home writing doing that which i truely love in a minute. but writing is difficult for paying the bills but still with hard work and discipline it is a paying market like retail. happy new year to you and yours. wet puppy kisses to all...

None of that really makes sense, but then again, it's not overly surprising. Many years ago, I was the supervisor for a particular department of a graphic arts house. For months, the plant manager warned us of a huge influx of work that we would be receiving in a few months. That would have been the time to hire new people, to get them trained before the work came in. Instead, they hired 3 new people . . . totally green . . . a week before this huge influx! Ever try to train people and get your work done at the same time? Unbelievably frustrating! It seems that Sears uses this same business model! I hope it somehow works out for you . . .

Business in retail is crazy after the only Season they have any more. I hope it levels out and you get more hours.
