Re:

Many thanks, Carolyn, and the same to you! Believe it or not, most of these I do make up, but some of them are just things I may have heard or picked up from someplace over the years, and others are bastardizations of jokes from eons past! I think they end up being a pretty nice jumble of puns . . .

Re: Jimmy A

Thanks, Sir Wiley. Always nice to bring a smile to everyone's face! Best way to start the week, I always think . . .

Re:

Some things, Kabu, are better left unsaid! I would think that if you also had a dog in that house, he would fully understand that statement about cats & dogs too! But, as long as everyone's happy . . .

Re:

I would never consider you overbearing, C C T. You interject all you wish! And you're right . . . it is harder than it looks! That's why I have a notebook with me at all times! I never know when one of these absurdities will hit me . . .

Re:

Thanks, FSI. Something you probably never thought about before, huh? Love those play on words . . .

Re:

Well that's no good, TAPS! I guess you've got to thaw out a bit before you read any 'funnies.' Sit by the fire, have a steaming cup of Joe, melt the icicles off of your ears, and try again . . .

Re: Jimmy

And that, Naut, would be a sight indeed! My wife and I don't have any dogs, but if we did, I'm sure they would be disgustipated ( as Popeye once exclaimed ) at how the cats are treated! Probably angry and upset too . . .

Great group of Groaners these and being a senior I loved the last one. I asked Graysome if that was true about cats...he gave me the look that said it all as he sailed past me his tail in the air.

Yes quite witty Jimmy. I am sure it is harder than it looks.

I really enjoy seeing what you have dreamed up for us.

Your play on words great. I think I will take a day off.

I don't want to be overbearing.

That is a funny one about atheism.

I'm having a little trouble cracking a smile right now.  I just got back in after being out in the cold.

LOL, good ones! As to #2: If I were to mention that to my dog, he'd bark out loud, holding his sides...
