Leftovers? What leftovers? After two consecutive days of group eating in my house - no leftovers to be found.

TAPS

We had a huge ham for Christmas, und unlike turkey, ham only improves during the left-over period to New Years and even beyond...

it's that nice settling time between Christmas and New Years...

the Leftovers Days.

About deer and deer ticks, and Lyme disease...  there's the remedy of cotton balls impregnated with a chemical that kills the tick-larvae in the part of their regeneration cycle which involves mice.  The chemical is actually harmless to to mice themselves, but they carry the cotton, left in the fields, into their nests. Your public health dept might know if that is being done in your area.

You are so creative. All that i could do was make Turkey sandwiches...now all gone. WE do still have one fruit Christmas cake left. Wiley had to slow down on his daily intake of cake...it is really rich..
