Sometimes the beginnings of one 'project' leads to others! One of the downsides of putting out a large array of decorations, as nice as they look for these odd few weeks, is that they all have to eventually be taken down and put away! It's nice that you found a few items that you can keep out on display . . .

interior decorating is so much fun. i was encouraged by our neighborhood coffee klatcsh to decorate for christmas but i never did. i guess i do have one little snowman that my dad painted while my mom was in the nursing home this year. together with a few wall hangings, calendars and some decorations and photos on my bookshelves -- that's the extent of my decorating. it just all comes together by chance for me. it's cozy and i like it. maybe i'll even vacuum and dust one of these days!

terrific and I do enjoy reading about redecorating and looking through decorating books. not that I redoecorate myself much. Our rooms are a hotchpotch of stuff. Very country cottage in a Canadian meets Austrakian sort of way. You would have fun here sorting it all out and painting and moving stuff I am sure.
