It will be interesting to see what the weather does in January...To me, the weather has made it feel like Christmas in Maryland...Lily is an interesting character.

I grew some ginger once it was in a greenhouse and I did have some some large roots eventually. You have warmer summers so it should do OK.

I love reading your stuff.  This spring I want to plant another ginger rhizome in a pot on the porch and see how tall it will get.  I planted one too late in the fall and the freeze got it.  So, I want to try it again.
