Well, we'd rather not have such thoughts at this time of year, but it is what it is. I too hope those poor people get their power restored soon! My wife and I can empathize . . .

We have loss of electricy in thousands of home Naut due to winds and floods.Fortunately
not around here. the sad thing is once one has been flooded it kills the sales of houses in that area.We must count our blessings.

It makes me shiver to think of everyone without heat in such cold
weather, a potentially dangerous situation - on the other hand, for those with fireplaces, how nice to have the time without the noise of TV, etc., and with any luck there'll be marshmallows to toast, stories to tell (uninterrupted by cell phones). Can't be all bad.
