What I find the most amazing about this particular situation is that many will view Snowden as a hero, while others will look upon him as a villian. It's all speculation now. No one wants to sound 'unpatriotic' by totally agreeing with him, but at the same time, no one wants to be a 'doormat' either! This ride is getting bumpier and bumpier . . .

This is very interesting reading...

I have not been able to decide if what Snowden did was misguided altruism, or necessary revelations of truth.  Ideally, the second is the case... but something makes me lean towards protection of the status quo as less conflicting. I think that part of me is mistaken. What is funny in a sad way is that the US is being called on a 'bad behavior' that has been the norm for a really long time, and so far, only the US is being blamed for such 'betrayals' of allies, as if everyone out there with the ability to do it, has not been doing it.
