Re: JimmyA
I had a feeling you would, Sir Wiley. It's too bad we can't really do things like that to some our of more irritating fellow citizens! Or can we . . . ?
Have a wonderful Christmas!

Re:
Glad to hear it, Kabu. And I think, as wonderful as this coming week may be, it can also be somewhat stressful. So why not start off with a chuckle or two? Hope you and Sir Wiley have a wonderful Christmas! Stay warm . . .

Re: Jimmy
And I can't help but wonder, Naut, how many of our less-than-intelligent fellow citizens may actually fall for that! Tell them there's a 'private room' out on the wing specifically for phone calls. I hate to sound cynical, but I'll bet you would get a few fools to actually step out there . . . !

Re:
I don't know how it is in Britain, C C T, but over here in the states, it's almost become a strange sight to not see someone on a cell phone whenever they are out and about. What ticks me off the most is that, when you're within ear-shot, you hear the most useless and pointless conversations! Nothing of importance, nothing that may constitute an emergency. Just idle chit chat, or more specifically, bullshit! Worst invention ever . . .
And I do try to be cheerful, and bring as much levity as I can into most things. I'm not a heavy drinker ( in fact, I really don't drink at all ), and sometimes I'm not sure if I was born happy, or developed my sense of humor over time. Perhaps a bit of both. Regardless, I think most people, including me, would rather smile and laugh than be sullen or down. I hate sadness, in any form, from anyone. Keep smilin'! That's my motto!
And as far as lights and energy bills are concerned, well, I don't think the "fat cats" care one way or the other! They get paid either way!
Enjoy your Christmas . . .

Re:
That's true, lustor. You're more or less 'stuck' in that plane. However, you would think others would take that into consideration, and refrain from making those useless, irritating phone calls until later. Usually, no such luck . . .

LOL. And I certainly would approve of the last item! I would add that one should close the door firmly, so they won't come back in...

I hope it does not mean when flying JIMMY I can't think how the voice
could make for the destination unless one is phoning forward to someone.
. Not many around today, you are the only cheerful guy
on the planet. I suppose you are a heavy drinker or were born happy.
I notice a distinct lack of Christmas lights, due I suppose to the increased charges.
If we get a change of Government we are promised a bit off our Energy Bills'
Of course the poor mutts who work will probably pay for it.
