I hate those icy days, but i suppose if one lives in a cold country it is to be expected,they do appear to be able to cope. Here if we get an inch of snow everything is at red alert.
Although really floods are more of a worry and once one's house has been flooded it is a job to put it on the market and expect a good response.

TAPS here. Yes we got ice. Son was very careful in cleaning ice and snow off of his car after he finally got the door open. I didn't even go out, and I told sons not to bother with cleaning my car for now. And, it's getting colder by the minute tonight.
