I will be praying for all of yall that are affected by that ice storm we keep hearing that is headed your way. Stay warm, stay healthy, and yes, you have survived these before and that is what will help you survive this one.

That must have been one scary drive...we are expecting more weather too but there is plenty of food and plenty of warmth and we will just weather what comes ...like you.

I'll be thinking of you...
I hope the larder is full and there are extra blankets, sweaters and socks... oh, and hats :) ... in easy reach. If you have electric stove, maybe cooking some things in advance might be a good plan?

I think ice storms are the scariest slow events there are. I mean
a tornado bearing down or a huge windstorm is frightening, but the ice is so beautiful and deadly, accumulating like a grudge, gaining weight and intent all the while.
