He is a cutie.  He looks like such a pleasant, happy fellow.  I know you miss him.  Missing him probably gets worse around the holiday season.  I was just missing my own dad and playing one of his favorite old-time country songs:  "You never even called me by my name."

Sad to think about indeed. My dad passed away eight years ago at the age of 74, and I think about him all the time too. Don't be sad. We all go through this. Just keep his memory alive as best you can, and forge ahead. That's all we can do . . .

It is all in the mind, your Dad accepted the inevitable bravely, possibly to save your Mum from too much stress, he looks that kind of man.

That is great that the card came for you...My paternal grandfather died when he was 62. My father, who is fifty-seven says that it is weird to be approaching the age that his father was when he died...Your father looked great in the photo.

Life marches on and what is disheartenign to us that we continue to march on without some of our loved ones from the past.

Lustor

No your father does not look like a dying man. He looks so sweet and compassionate. I have read some of your stories about your father, sounds like he did so much service for the Lord that God thought it was time for him to rest and have a beautiful peace and love forever. Do not worry about your death sweetheart it cannot come until God allows it.
