Hmnnn I have been given something to think about here. I suppose when i had kids, even though i was working outside the home, I expected to be the one who taught my boys their responsibilities re cleaning up after themselves and making their beds.

Cleaning up after oneself should be as natural as breathing! However, either people have been spoiled by mothers who did clean up after them constantly, or else they're just too damned lazy. If Felix Unger and Oscar Madison are the two extremes, I would still lean toward being a bit of a Felix . . .
