Sounds like you have been through it all. Is this one of those occasions where it is grand to be old? Would you repeat the hot flashes for a bit of youth? (youth from my perspective)

You are right love, a true post for women by a true woman. I was blessed through those flushed years. I did spend the nights in a sweat bath, but the hormones levelled out and I was relieved not to be falling into a black hole each month as I used to. And then I too reached the goddess years made even happier with Grandbabies coming along and taking the time to enjoy them as I had never enjoyed my own babies.

Yes I was only thinking today Pat how simple life would have been if one had enjoyed the foresight of age. Although one can amuse oneself watching the young. I went into the chemist today and my tablets were not ready. 'How long' I asked. The young lady had red dyed hair, 'ten minutes.' 'I shall be back in ten minutes' I said. She laughed, of course they were not ready. So I sat in a chair and waited. I thought I would have a bit of fun, so when she came back eventually I pulled a large box of chocolates out of my bag and gave her them. She said, 'No I can't take those.' I said they are not for you
they are for all of you and don't show the others until I have gone. She was last seen waving the the box of chocolates. Perhaps we acquire a bit of devilment.
