I am in complete agreement about getting up at 4 am to go fishing. The only problem with that right now is getting the axe to cut the frozen lake. I do however, still wake up from time to time very early, and think to myself, that clock must be wrong. It's been so long since I went to that greasy diner after dancing the night away, I can barely remember it. However, like you, I did do that at one time, or another. It seems to me those eggs were good tho.Lol

when I was fancy free and going to UNi at 40 I could stay out all night, go for Breakfast on Saturday night and then try to keep awake for my teeagers all Sunday. It would kill me now.

I bet the Band was glad to play that final tune Pat. I don't think I could hack greasy breakfasts these days. A packet of instant porridge and a few raisins and a cup of cocoa. Nice to be in the warm and look out of the window, once you would have probably fretted over the outlook.

Ah yes, I too remember those nights! And they remind me of that old tune, A Broadway Lullaby (When a Broadway baby says good night, it's early in the morning)...We had a lot of those, even if it wasn't on Broadway...
