great fun, terrific reading and truly the gift giving has got out of hand. It has become a ritual, a chore mostly and the fun has died...well unless you are buying the pay back gift. LOL

Yes very well expressed Pat . I think cash probably these days, the little tikes will look with dismay on what you think is the grooviest present. I remember getting a box of lead soldiers and thought it was the most wonderful gift. Times change, I read a true story the other day, the little girl prayed earnestly for a doll for Christmas. Her parents made her one from a piece of white cloth, but it was so crude she could never love it and eventually she left it on a fence it rained and the face disappeared.
