They are becoming a bit thin on the ground A. I was hoping to do birds but they have not shown up much, not cold enough probably.

Re: I don't know who said it first, but it's still true: good fences make

No the cats could just walk through the front gate at night Pat. Her husband has ruined the hedge. but I try to appease the unappeasable. I am trying to write every two days, an hour with the dentist tomorrow, I'll find out if it is worse than having a blade stuck down the side of a toenail.

good neighbors. As for the hedge, well, they've never stopped a cat yet, thick or thin as far as I know. Kitties can leap tall hedges at a single bound, fences too. Love Badass Wood and its inhabitants. What fun to think of pixies tuning the bluebells.

You are a bit late making suggestions Naut, never mind , I know the hedge will be thicker next year. I suppose I would have said tear my pants if I had sent it.

Re: Jimmy
Well it is always robins I know it is usually on a cardinal or most cases. Archie soon retorts if provoked, he comes from a tetchy family.

I think that kiddie rhyme would be acceptable to the guardians of decorum if you just dropped the last to lines, but that would be a loss, LOL...And as far as the hedgecut is concerned, it obeys the same laws as a bad haircut - it'll all grow out again, LOL...And if those pixies wanted a name change, why not simply from Bagass to Badass?

Was it a robin? I had always thought it was a cardinal. Hmmm . . . And just out of curiosity, what did Archie hope to accomplish by throwing a piece of tin and a rock at that hedge? Is this some new type of gardening technique we've never heard of before?
