At least you're not acquiescing to anyone, and are standing your ground in both your thoughts and your feelings. Regardless of the topic, many people usually feel compelled to back-peddle, and begin apologizing simply for giving their opinions on something. I'm sure your intention is to educate and pass along information, accompanied with your opinion, and not necessarily to insult or infuriate anyone. However, that's sometimes a "slippery slope." Hang in there, brother, and keep forging ahead . . .

I've been trying to comment here for several hours and kept getting interrupted. I kind of feel sorry for Straightforward. Your tone in this one was worse than the tone in the one in which she did not like your tone.

Those Fatwas are extremely telling...It is amazing how much of life they try to regulate and what conclusions they have drawn...
