Here's To Beauty
A triumph once again, Sweet Friend! Beauty expressed, and, I must say, addictive. This one reminds me of a work by on eof my very favorite poets, William Moody. "A poem is here inside of me,fluttering like a bird,Struggling to uncage itself, wild, and never heard.A song unsung, nor understood,And least of all by me,Of unseen mountain torrents,Of lonely waves at sea,The beat of wings where sea dunes are,The sea gulls' strident cry,The stinging of the ocean wind, that makes the salt spume fly. Come out, come out, and take the air, Your birth is more than I can bear!"

Poetry is like music, the more I read it the more I like it.

Sinome

I can understand the difficulty in writing about one's regrets! I have never believed those that tell us 'Regrets I have none' as in that song - I think they're lying to us and to themselves...

Perhaps you be kinder to yourself Simone. We all wish we had done things at a time.

I was thinking of my Mother this morning, sitting vacantly  in a chair and

health visitor said .'why not give her a bowl of water and some spoons to wash.

I suppose it would have been a good idea, but I was under stress and I said

she will spill it and make a mess. I suppose one has to be logical, she would not take

pills and those available were no use, but little things bite at times whatever one does.
