News has become so boring, the news channels go on and on and on and tell the same stories to the point that I turn them on once a day for one lot of news.

Yes, I feel the impact of news faster today than before the new devices came along. I also find that news is less reliable because everyone is trying to break news and end up reporting incorrect facts in a haste. Then, there is also social networking, where everyone has a soap box to speculate, speculate, and speculate some more.
I find the devices nowadays to be more modern than payphones.
