I thought it was safer to go for a rhyme with 'Mars."

Re:Pat
I am sure you do Pat, I expect that's your bed shaking. Yes the Doctors have got to be more caring towards the elderly, well that's what the politicians say. Great if one is not ill.

Re:
Well they used to come here reluctantly 20 years ago ago Jimmy. One used to see them trotting around visiting not so long ago. One tends to forget those things, I think one just gets picked up in an ambulance these days. Yes I know you have problems sadly money is the quickest cure for most of them.

Re: CCT
I guess it would be cold if one searched for a deserted beach Naut. The little Beach houses one room fetch a fab price on some of the more clement sites. No the Doctors all have funny names, I am sure they are OK but we-uns bent yoused to funny talk.

Re: I am guessing that the docs at the top of the list
I shall go and find a friendly receptionist and book my proper doctor Ciel. They are more
easily swayed than a computer. I thought you guys came from Venus, one learns something every day.

Re:
Well Slimone there is not much sand apparent here and yet in as meadow
not far away one digs down a couple of feet and it is pure sand so perhaps
the sea lapped there once. I do seem to remember little musical gadgets and of course the complicated ones that played huge records. I was just wondering about numbers as Taps said 45 replied to a controversial blog a few years ago .Wow replies would have to be short and sweet. Nothing to do with your writing, newcomers do not seem to last or comment.

No dancing on the beach memories just long thoughtful walks alone on empty sandy beaches in Australia.

Dancing on the beach... that brought memories of lazy afternoons and vinil records being played on battery operated portable little record players...remember those? One could hardly hear them and the records kept skipping because the sand kept blowing on them ...but no one complained because we had nothing better and they were all the rage :-) ... Nice poem CC... very nostalgic :-) I too think there are not too many of us in Bloggit... When I started to have 20 0r 25 comments was common but now a days if I get 10 I am amazed loll either I am getting worse with my writing, people are tired of me or there are not as many people around as they used to be... We will see now in the Winter...when people are s tucked at home...maybe they will come back for lack of something better ..be well CC xoxoxo

I am guessing that the docs at the top of the list
are the least-asked for, being either new and untried, or tried and not liked. Could be worth finding out which.
When I do this again, there will be dancing on the beach... and sweet slices of pear and peach... and music sparkling from the stars, with a nice percussion beat from Mars.

Booking an appointment with an unknown doc isn't my kind of good idea - I like to meet them first! And I too have asked myself how many people are left on Blogit - I'm sure it's fewer than when I got here back in '06...But I like your poem - reminds me that I love long walks on deserted beaches that stretch for miles, though I don't get the chance very often...

I have no idea if you blokes across the pond have any idea what's going on over here in the states concerning our own health care problems ( currently dubbed Obamacare), but believe me, it is far, far worse, as far as computer glitches and waiting times are concerned! Does anyone remember the "old days" of the simple country doctor who would come to your home, treat whatever ails you, and sometimes took a good meal or a bottle of something as payment? -sigh-

It is amazing just how much technology has changed things...You do a great job at painting the scene on the beach.

I still dance upon the sand and hear the music in my bones
when I'm asleep or daydreaming. But mostly it's all fragmented memories now. I like the idea of booking doctor visits by email.

"Life gets harder. Psst, how many folk are left on bloggit?"
I think I am just barely here. I kind of wish that I could go back to dancing on the beach. That was fun.
